GRWA2014: “An enlightening and inspiring experience – the must-attend gambling conference in Australia!”
Gaming, Racing & Wagering Australia is the region’s leading conference for Australia’s gaming, sports betting, lottery and racing executives. Over one hundred of Australia’s senior gaming / wagering executives nationwide gathered at the Swissotel in Sydney on 11-13 August, 2014 to learn about new gaming regulations, strategies to increase growth & profitability, and other new developments in the industry.
GRWA2014 was one of our most highly-rated conferences of the year, we heard that delegates were delighted by the open and candid nature of presentations and panel discussions throughout the conference. There was no holding back. Day one kicked off with a bang with two of Australia’s key gaming regulators from NSW and QLD giving their insights into what is heading our way in the next few years and the reasons behind the decisions that have been made to date. On the second day, we also heard from Luke Rattigan of SportsBet, who opened up what he sees as the way forward for SportsBet and the wagering industry for the next few years, as well as hearing from industry innovators such as Jason Neave of Punt Club, who presented a social side to wagering, Tony McAuslan from Royal Wins who spoke about a new hybrid wagering + skill based game series, and Shayne Hare of BetEasy, who took the top 5 innovations from non-gambling companies and how they could be applied into our growing industry.
Here’s what our delegates thought of the conference in 2014:
“As a newcomer to the industry I found the GRWA conference provided a wealth of information about the challenges and innovations happening in Australian wagering. The speakers were experts in their field, the schedule was kept tight, and I look forward to attending again in 2015.”

This enable regulators to commence strategies to ensure such issues are addressed in a timely manner for the benefit of both.”
